Dear Ammon,
In my opinion you can have a long lasting, meaningful relationship
with out having many of the same interests.
Feeling The Spark Is A Good Sign
There is a difference between having something in common with someone
and that spark you were talking about. I think that the "spark"
means a lot more than having similar interests.
I don't really see a problem with not having similar interests
as long as your partner respects your interests and you respect
theirs.
If It Feels Right, You're Doing Good
As long as there's plenty else to do together and talk about, and
as long as it feels right to be together then I'd say that you're
doing pretty good.
