Dear Ammon,

It Can Work

Such a relationship can work. But you really have to decide what your main interests are and what his are.

KP

Yep. Opposites attract!

There are people who are total opposites who have been together for their whole lives (like my parents for example).

If you don't share main interests, maybe there are other things you both like that you share. Like reading either a book or a magazine before you turn off the lights to go to bed.

Be Honest and Respectful Of Each Other

Hallie

Right. Feeling the spark is a good sign.

If you both feel the same for each other and there are equal amounts of trust honesty and respect, then I'm sure you could make something happen, especially if you still feel he is right for you.

PreciousYou May Discover Common Interests

Maybe you should try asking him out on a date or suggesting that the two of you do something fun together. Maybe you could go bowling or miniature golfing one evening. You might find something about him that you really like, and who knows, it may be one of your "main interests".

You really ought to get to know the guy before you start planning your wedding.
