Reader's Response

Kalia said:

Whichever one of you feels the need to party isn't ready to settle down.

A Reader Responds:

It's Not Because They Party

I disagree. A person's need to party or visit bars clubs etc. shouldn't be governed by age or whether they have children but by whether they enjoy doing those things as a couple.

This person does not say how regularly they visit bars clubs or go out.

Kalia Made Too Many Assumptions

It seems to me that a lot of assumptions are made by this panelist who appears to think that if you have children then you need to stop having fun.

What About Their Age and Place In Life

One point I feel was missed is the fact that this couple are twenty-five and twenty-two years old and the girlfriend at least is still in school.

Surely this is more of a basis for not discussing marriage and children than the fact they like to party.
