Dear In Love,

To not be afraid, you have to want to stop being afraid. Course as usual, easier said than done.

Forget About Being Afraid

Linda

You really don't get it. This is not the kind of thing you can just forget. Her fear WON'T just sddenly go away.

The best way I would say to lay fear far away is to forget you are afraid or what you afraid of.

Don't Worry About Sex

You are afraid of the possibility that you will be having sex after the prom. I would wager that even though you were forced into sex when you were younger this guy probably has little to no experience with sex... that is if I assume correctly that he is around your age.

Trust Has To Be Earned

How do you deal with not trusting him? Well I say if you don't trust him there's no way to force it. If you trust him you'll know it and you won't be asking online pseudo-experts about it.

Go Enjoy The Prom

Linda

Hello! She is already dealing with the issue of sex! She should seek help from a counselor.

My advice to you would be to enjoy your prom. Go with him if you believe you'll have fun. Enjoy it. Don't worry about sex, at your age it shouldn't really even be an issue.

Just worry about making it memorable for all the right reasons.

Buddy
