Dear Happily,
I am not married. I am just a 25-year-old man that has a
girlfriend. I will try to do my best though.
You Do Love Him
You say that you are not in love with him. I think that you DO
love him though. There are all different kinds of love. It could
of started off as this incredible romantic relationship. Sex could
of been great all of the time. You would get the butterflies when
he called or came home at night.
Then he could of been an asshole. A shitty husband and father.
Most of your life would be miserable with a guy like that. Or you
can lead a good life with the man you are with now.
Only during sex or passionate moments do you feel regret. Now I
ask you, which one do you pick? If I were you I would pick the second
one. The good guy.
A Decreased Sex Life Is Normal
As far as I know most couples in their forties have a decreased
sex life. That is all I hear when I speak to men about that age.
That they never have sex anymore. If you asked the question about
12 years ago I would of told you something different.
There is nothing much you can do at this point.
Get Freaky With Him
You are at a good point. Get a little freaky with him if you have
to or get a bunch of toys. Just don't go cheating on him and ruin
a good thing. This reminds me of the Bridges of Madison County.
