Dear Panel,
I am a single woman, trying to find a
nice, honest guy.
I want to go on a date with a nice guy,
but all my friends say he is not good looking enough,
I can do better. But I really like him. They are really
pressuring me to NOT go out with him.
He's A Great Guy
I recently met a nice, guy that is connected
with my job. The first time we met, we were like old
friends from 20 years ago. (For the past 4 months I
have just talked to him on the phone.) He is not a nice
looking man, but one of the nicest guys I know. Big
heart, caring, honest.
My Friends Say He's Not Good Enough
He asked me out and we are going out in
a few weeks, but my friends tell me he is not good enough
for me, just because of his looks.
I don't think that is right. I want to
get to know him and maybe date him. His personality
overpowers his looks.
How do I tell my friends to back off,
or should I?
