There isn't a set rule to say whether long distance relationships
work or not. It all depends on the people involved in the relationship.
Don't Worry About Your Friends and Family
Don't worry about what your family and friends say, it's up to
you and your boyfriend to decide for yourselves.
You might find that you meet loads of new people, and find it difficult
to keep up your relationship with your boyfriend because you want
to spend all your time with your new friends.
Stay Together
However, you may find that you make loads of new friends but you
enjoy seeing your boyfriend whenever you can, and the excitement
of your visits to each other may bring you closer.
I suggest that you stay together for now, and see what happens.
Talk to your boyfriend about your feelings, and promise each other
to be honest about the situation, so that if the relationship is
destined to end, you can at least remain friends.
