Dear Panel,

Hi, I'm a 20 year old male and I have been liking this particular girl. However, I don't think she likes me because she avoids talking to me and refuses to go out with me by giving all kinds of excuses.

What should I do? Should I keep on calling her or just forget about her?

male, age 20, Asia

It depends. Which do you like better: banging your head against a wall, or stopping?

What should you do?
Get a clue. She's not interested. Move on.

Dear Panel,

There is a particular woman that I'd like to get to know better.

For quite a while she wore a ring on the middle finger of her right hand. Now she's wearing it on the ring finger of her right hand.

Not having a clue, does the finger that the ring is worn on have any particular meaning????

male, age 26, USA

Sometimes.
Here's a helpful hint: say to her "That's an interesting ring you're wearing. Does it have any special significance for you?"
I bet you'll get your answer then.

Maybe she's experiencing temporary water retention.

I'm nuts, I know! But he don't love me!

Help me!

female 14, Europe

It's called a fantasy, sweetie. Enjoy it!

You can build a whole life together in your head, and it won't be ruined by the reality of him.

Whatever you do, don't talk to him. It will only lead to disappointment.

I don't know how he really feels about me, but i want him to ask me out.

he's leaving work soon for another job,

You could try telepathy to get him to ask you out.

If that doesn't work, try telephony to ask him out.

Dear Panel,

My partner doesn't have much self confidence.

He's always afraid to loose me. This makes my life kinda complicated.

How can I help him in getting more confident?

Tell him that you'll stop sleeping with other men for a whole month. Just for him.
You can't help him get more self-confident. That's his job, and why the term is "self" confidence.
Stop dating other guys.

Dear Panel,

I am a 35 y/o male.

I am considering marrying a 40 y/o woman.

Can you recommend some sites where I can get info on marrying a slightly older woman?

Just read Charlie's old answers.
  www.relax_itsonly5years.com
Can't recommend any sites.
Can recommend you seriously re-consider whether you should marry this woman if a five year age difference is enough to send you searching out reference material.

Dear Panel,

I think I am falling for my best friend's brother.

Is this a dangerous situation?

Her brother and I have always been friends but things are different now. I think he also feels the same way.

Should I just forget it because it could ruin the friendship between his sister and I?

It's only dangerous if your friend is falling for her brother, too.

Dear Panel,

The only person I have had a real romantic interest in in the 3 months I've been at college is exactly like my first (and only) girlfriend. She looks like her she talks like her and she seems to have a similar personality.

But my last girlfriend really hurt me. I was depressed for months afterward.

Why would the only person I want to go out with be exactly like someone who hurt me?

I don't know, but it's gotta be better then going out with someone who reminds you of your mother.
