Dear Panel,

I'm having a relationship for almost a year now. I'm confused about my feelings for him. We are both divorced. I'm not sure if my attraction to him is based on sex or not.

This was the main problem in my previous relationship.

He is sure it's not, but how can I be sure?

– Princess

Female, Age 38, Europe

Linda

Stop having sex for a few months and see how you like him.

Dear Panel,

In these several months, I knew a girl. Gradually, I found that I like her. So, I start to date her.

Luckily, she was also willing to go out with me. (Sometimes we go out with a group of friends, sometimes she just goes out with me.)

However, recently, I find that she seems to have boyfriend. Now, I feel that I am in dilemma. On the one hand, I really don't want to give up the chance of developing a deeper relationship with her. On the other hand, I really want to know whether or not she really has boyfriend.

Would panel mind giving some advice to me?

Mel

Ready for the advice?!?

Ask her.

Lefty

In the course of developing a deeper relationship, you will find out if she has a boyfriend.

Dear Panel,

I recently hooked back up with my ex boyfriend after I dumped him (I have NO idea why – he is like my dream guy) 3 months ago.

Please help me make this work.

– Confused Teen

Female, age 14, Colorado, USA

Linda

Listen, honey, we can't do the impossible. You're 14, you're fickle, you admit you don't know what you're doing... you're on your own! Good luck.

Reader Liz

If he's your dream guy, why did you break up with him in the first place?

Dear Panel,

My problem is this: I have a boyfriend whom I've been dating for a year and a half. WE have problems like any other couple would, but here lately all we do is fight.

And there's this other guy I'm not sure how I feel about.

I love my current boyfriend but I'm not sure if I still want to be with him or not.

I need someone else's opinion. Just something telling me what you think. Please.

Dear Panel,

Why do chicks wear makeup? It doesn't make them look any better, and it tastes awful.

– Rodney

Male, age 25, Aspen, CO

Lefty

Bud, stop eating the makeup.

Jody

Goes well with the feathers.

Jeannie

Well, gee, I can name something that doesn't taste all that good either... If we can deal, so can you.

Dear Panel,

How do you know you're in love?

Also, is there anything wrong with moving to a city near the one you love even if it's 18 hours away? I plan on attending school there, too.

Last question: How soon is too soon to get married?

– Needing Help

Female, age 19, USA

Lefty

If you move to a city just to be with someone, then you're in love.

It's too soon if you're still asking that question.

Break up, stay together...it doesn't matter, you won't be together for long anyway.

Dear Panel,

How can I get a perfect guy that will love me in any situations and will care about me?

– Lonely...

Female, age 14, Indonesia

Lefty

Be the perfect woman.

Linda

I hate to disillusion you, you're so young, but since you asked I gotta tell you that you can't ever get a perfect guy.

Keep looking until you find one who's really, really good for you and to you, and grab him quick once you're sure of him.

Dear Panel,

I have just currently gotten out of a relationship, and it was for the dumbest reason.

I want to know why guys are so difficult to understand?

– Robin

Female, age 17, Canada

Alicia

Guys usually say what they mean. It is women, who extract too much meaning in trying to understand them, who cause the problems.

Dear Panel,

I am very altruistic, but sometimes that hurts me because I discard my feelings to keep from hurting someone else.

I'm only in high school and I'm the truest virgin. I'm a great listener and I like to make people laugh and make them feel special.

This girl is kind of like me probably has the same ideas and principles. We're pretty good friends. She's very sweet and caring, too, with the same problem as me (about being too altruistic).

See, I've liked this girl since my sophomore year, it's just she has someone else in mind that she tries to get out of her head but can't.

I've been talking her about everything about what I feel, etc. I just want to know what can I do to help her. See, my plan is to help her get on a date with this guy to let her see his real personality. When she soon finds out how he is, she'll either continue or forget about him.

i'm just trying to find away to either speed up the process or to help her totally forget about him. Is there anything that I can do to help her forget?

Can you help Me?

– Jhonny Pneumonic

Male, age 17, USA

Linda

There's a lot of selfishness hidden in your fancy words about altruism.

Cut the crap and tell her how you really feel about her. Then it's up to her.

Jayne

Dude, you'll never lose your virginity with ass-backwards plans like that. Stop being a martyr and get your woman.

Karmela

Another guy? Forget altruistic, are you retarded?

Dear Panel,

My 23 year old best guy friend is dating a 16 year old girl.

How can I convince him to dump this "jailbait"? He tells lies to me and says that he is not seeing her anymore, but I asked around and he still dates her.

What should I do to help him?

– Disgusted at Friend's Behavior

Female, age 23, Ohio

Linda

He doesn't want your help. He'll tire of her after a while. In the meantime, decide how you feel about being close friends with a guy who's going after jailbait: if it were me, it would put a significant crimp in the friendship. And double dates have got to be weird!

Alicia

He sounds like he is doing just fine and doesn't want your help. As for you, consider why you are best friends with somebody who repeatedly lies to you.

Lefty

I don't think there's anything you can do to help him. Her parents might put him in jail to help her, though.

Jayne

Bring him cookies on visiting day.

Dear Panel,

I am completely in love, and my boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years. But I'm young – not that I want to blame this on hormones or anything.

I'm currently enamored of someone else, and this other boy has wrapped himself around my brain in a way I can't shake. I know that it's just a crush, that it'll pass with time – but currently, it's killing me.

Any advice?

Dear Panel,

I was wondering why do young teens (15-17 years old) fall for adult men (20-40 years old)?

– Chillen0

Female, age 16, Delaware, USA

Karmela

One word: maturity. Teenage boys don't seem to have it.

Linda

Because it takes guys that much longer to grow up to catch up to where girls are and want to be.

Jess

Money.

Lefty

Where do I find these young teens that you are talking about?
