Reader's Response

Jody said:

...If you are not married to a person, they are not your spouse, and therefore it is adultery.

Reader Lindsay Responds:

I disagree because God says:

"But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law" (Galatians 5:18) and marriage today is only a legal process.

God Doesn't Need Legal Documents

I don't think God meant that once you are eligible for a marriage license and get the legal documents, that it's okay to have sex. Call me crazy.

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
