Ummmm, if you don't know HOW, it's not the right time.

How do you have sex? There's this great book called Our Bodies, Ourselves.

Maybe you should take a peek at it.

What would you do if your boyfriend had sex with another girl while he was still with you and then asked her to move in with him?

What should I do ?

I was going with him for 2 months – I know it's not long, but still!

– Candy

Dear Panel,

I don't know what my standards are. I have confidence in myself, but I don't know what girls are too good for me and which aren't.

Attractive girls have guys flocking to them, so why would they want me over any other guy? Do the more attractive girls automatically have higher standards?

How do I approach these girls without them thinking I am a joke for even attempting to get them?

– N.M.

Male, age 18, Massachusetts USA

Valetta

Confidence is a self virtue, and before you expect anyone else to flock to you, you must look into yourself for confidence.

Jimmy

Dear Panel,

I am a very mature 17 year old virgin.

I am in love with one of my teachers. He has recently told me that he likes me, too. He is 32 years old.

I already know what I am going to do, but just in case, am I crazy?

I will give your advice some thought. I want him and I think I am ready. What's your take?

Dear Panel,

I have a 13 year old daughter who will be 14 in a couple of months, and I have just found out that her "boyfriend" talked her into having sex with him. He is in the 8th grade, 14-15 years old.

What can I do legally?

I'm not sure of what the law is in this sort of case! Please help me!

– Troubled Mom

Female, age 35, Florida

Lefty

You need a great deal more help than in prosecuting this boy. How about you talking with your daughter about peer pressure and moral issues?

Webmistress Cynth

Dear Panel,

I met a guy online about a year ago. We live about an hour away from each other and finally decided to meet. We went hiking and had a great time.

The problem is, I'm pretty new to dating, after having been married 14 years. I've found that after going on a date with someone once, I usually wind up getting treated like a kid sister. I REALLY like this guy, so want to know how to avoid becoming his sister, and also how to tell if he really likes me after meeting me.

He sent me a message this morning, and then an e-mail, so I kinda think he does, but as a sister or a potential girl friend?

Thanks!

– Confused

Female, age 32, Mass

Lefty

Kiss him and see if he punches you. If he does, then it's kid sister time.

Mo

Try kissing him, but not like you'd kiss your brother.

Saibhin

I know this is a stretch, but how about asking him?

Dear Panel,

I just broke up with my girlfriend of over a year.

She has never been in a relationship before and she doesn't really know how to handle it. I tried to do the most humane thing and skip the distance part and just try to be friends, but now she is telling me that I have to make a decision: Either decide to see other people, or get back with her.

If I see other people, she will most likely never talk to me again.

What should I do?

– Kiley C.

Female, age 22, USA

Lefty

Tell me again who doesn't know how to handle breaking up?

Linda

Breaking up is hard to do. Clean breaks are usually best. Your inexperienced ex-girlfriend seems to get this better than you do. Leave her alone.

Jayne

Hey, you heard the lady: make a decision.

Dear Panel,

My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 months.

Everything has been going great until this past Friday, when a girl at a party was all over him. All of a sudden, he decided that he is bored with our relationship, but assured me that nothing happened at the party.

Should we take a break from each other even though we don't see each other that much (once or twice a week)???

– Distressed Diva

Female, age 17, Canada

Lefty

Don't think of it as a "break" from your boyfriend. Think of it as the start of getting a new boyfriend.

Dear Panel,

There is a girl that I work with, whom I find very attractive. Not just physically, but also intellectually. We have a lot of the same interests and she is exactly the type of girl that I've always dreamed of. She's smart, attractive, and she has a great personality.

She has already told me that I'm not her type, but her body language and her actions make me think that she likes me, too. I'm confused.

Should I ask her out? We get along great at work and we are a good team. We have become friends, but I want to take it further than that. I think that if she got to know me she would probably fall head over heels in love with me.

What do I do?

– Jason

Male, age 22, USA

Linda

Even though girls may not be interested in you, some of them still like the attention you give them and seeing your reaction to their half-assed, passive aggressive flirting.

You can keep trying, but girls become interested when you pretend they don't exist.

Dear Panel,

Why is it that I have a big temper with my guy, when he talks about another girl?

– Barbara R.

Because you're jealous and insecure. Get over it.

Dear Panel,

I have seen a 32-year-old woman for the past year and a half. Whilst there is no doubt she loves me, I have doubts that she wants a baby and security more than she wants me, based on her financial and medical condition (endometriosis).

I know in my own 30-year-old mind that I am still maturing emotionally, but I think I love her. I always question whether it is just a strong case of caring or love. I have difficulty committing to her and our future because of my distrusts and wondering if there is someone better for me. Although when I list her qualities and what I see in her, no one comes close (maybe physically).

Any comments much appreciated.

Dear Panel,

My boyfriend of over a year, moved home/away. He wasn't even sad to leave me behind!

We still talk everyday, but when I ask him where we are going and what will we do about us, and seeing each other, he says: "I don't know, what do you want to do"?

I mean is this guy just a plain jerk and I need to tell him BYE-BYE or what?

– DP Dazed

Female, age 33, USA

Lefty

He doesn't have to be a "plain jerk" to be ambilavent in his feeling towards you and his life. But ambivalency and distance are enough for you to say bye-bye.

Dear Panel,

I am married, wanting a divorce, #3.

I have met the love of my life . I want this more than anything else, but the new Mr. Right does not see what I see.

How can I make this so?

– Molly P.

Female, age 37, Wisconsin USA

Linda

Perhaps he sees what I see, which is that you are one screwed up gal who needs serious therapy or thinking before you try to have a relationship with anyone else. Is there a clue for you in the fact that you're headed for divorce #3??? There is for me.
